People talk about Walter having a 'style' I dont see any evidence of a 'style' The problem seems to be that either the players are trying to play to a style that is impossible or there is no attempt at instilling in the players a system that is workable or a combination of the two
Also no sign of Burstow. Ok, not from the start but you’re two nil down with 20 to go, starting to gain an initiative, hit the bar; ideal time to put an extra striker on. Nothing. Burstow didn’t even have his shirt on.
Having one up front is only effective if the striker is mobile and skillful I'd always go with two strikers
So we’re on a Spa day today. Done the sauna, jaccuzzi, steam room, ice bath. Find myself in a floatation chamber, bobbing along listening to pan pipes. It’ll relax you she said. Re-centre you. Re-connect with your inner Ernie. So I let my mind drift. What do I end up thinking about? Why the **** did we play Burns infront of the back four last night? We needed someone to take the ball into midfield and create something. Gormless decision. I’m now on a Balinese Bed. Whatever one of those is. No more relaxed unfortunately.
He spent last night clogging up the thread, posting three or four times in a row insulting other posters. He was acting like a **** so I called him a ****.
Lmao. Posting all throughout the night and into the early hours of the morning. Been drinking alone again? Sad ****.
Have you tried a Tinder Thai Massage. Usually off a dark corridor labelled “Construction in Progess” That’ll work … ask Chazz
Just what's going on I can't work out. It's too early to guess how this season will pan out but here again we have someone with a failing system he's unlikely to change. Clearly it will not work, pressing forward without creating scoring chances and leaving your defence outnumbered several times on the counter attack is the type of thing you see in a Sunday league pub game, not in the 4th best league in the world. Ok, that's probably two of the best teams out of the way recently but Sheff U were very average and made to look good. I'll give it until November and if things haven't improved by then it may be time for the eccentric owner to get rid of the cavalier manager who'll be well rewarded for failure - yet another one.
So maybe, redo the thing that you made a big point in saying that you had already done? I try to live by the reasoning that if you've got nothing nice to say, then don't say it. I'm not suggesting that I'm always able to stick to that philosophy but it's stopped me from responding in the moment a number of times, and I certainly felt better for not doing so.
they wont have many easier away games this season than last night wilder even said they basically played ****
Still having flashbacks of how high a line we played at the back last night after gifted them a goal start. The Big Turk obviously didn’t like Roseinior’s vision or style and after pulling the trap door demanded a more attacking way of playing this season especially at home. That’s where we are at the moment, but as Acun saw for himself last night until you get it right, playing a high line and committing players forwards the way we did can leave you wide open for counterattacking sides to hurt you. It’s a fine line at times. Getting things right and being drilled into the kind of side fans obviously want to see takes time and to be fair to City and the support that turned up last night we did play some decent stuff as the game progressed. What worries me to date is the number of real attempts we have on goal and the way Walter’s sets City up to apply the press and attack the opposition . It’s early days for sure, you’d hope in the weeks to come we should see our strongest lineup appear, that’s perhaps the time for real assessment not only by the supporters but also I’d wager by the owners who may well have the patience needed or if they believe someone out here is better and available simply take the same route they did with Rosenior. UTT.
2 breakaway goals and played **** isn't a mauling, daft Blades piggies waving their little trotters in the air.
