Is Fibbers Dibling...?? If so I would go with what you have but swap THB for Bednarek and maybe Lallana instead of Dibling (only because it's Utd and Lallana's experience might prove useful (would definitely have Dibling against Ipswich next week for example)). I'm like you, if ABK is staying then he has to play, doesn't matter if he might be a bit of a kn*b (has that actually been proven anyway?), he is simply our best CB.
ABK is only marginally better than Bednarek, if at all. But that's irrelevant anyway if the bloke has a sh*t attitude and wants out of the club. He won't give a toss about us getting relegated again. In fact it probably helps him. Not saying we should close the door on him permanently, but it's far too soon to be putting him in.
Firstly if we are drawing with 10 minutes left, who do you think will be more desperate to secure our first point of the season? It won't be ABK, he won't give a toss. But possibly more importantly, it's not solely about performance on the day. What sort of message does it send to the rest of the squad if you can sulk, not put maximum effort in and then still get picked to start? It doesn't exactly manifest an elite environment where nothing less than 100% effort will be accepted.
He actually put in a shift when he came on against Cardiff TBF. It's too early for him to play in the PL for sure, but he looked like he cared against Cardiff.
Hoping that we will play better against a more open side like Newcastle with new players settling in. Hopefully we play well, score at least one goal and don't play anyone out of position!
Can't see anything other than a comfortable away win. As much as they've been in poor form they have far too much quality to not take at least a couple of the chances we'll cough up. My hopes extend to scoring a goal.
