OK were will i start lets be honest he is now to old to slow injury prone and on £20000 a week, played for Wales and comes back with a suspected hamstring injury,im sorry but i think its time for him to retire,im sure we could use the money in a better way,he said he wants to help Wales but Wales dont pay his wages and i thought he came back to help city or was it just to keep him fit to play for Wales.:emoticon-0149-no:

Just saw that William. He had his best game for some time v Turkey so it is very disappointing that a week later he has a hamstring problem which will probably put him out for another month at least.

If his pay is at the level mentioned then we clearly are not getting value for money.

Perhaps his absence will be a blessing in disguise giving Robertson, Ralls, Colwill and Turnbull chances to show they can play without him.

Arguably one could suggest he played well v the Turks (not the Llanelli ones) as he had better players around him and the game was more up tempo SO here’s a thought if our Turk manager was watching he could take a leaf out of Bellamy’s book and utilise him like Craig did AND not play him for 90+ minutes.

edit. That’s if he ever regains fitness<doh>

I thought the same Nin. BT will confirm that.

Trouble is we (City) don't have the same quality of players so he ends up running in circles to eventually disappear up his fundamental orifice - figuratively speaking.

I do so confirm and whilst it is disappointing to lose him through injury it is not the end of the world as we do have players capable of filling his role.
