Rusyn needs minutes and he's higher up the pecking order than Ogusunyi It's disappointing for the lad but he's only just stepped up to u21 level n will get plenty minutes this season Rusyn def needs minutes to keep him as sharp as possible
Not sure what the Mumba comment is about, I know folk moaned that we played him as a fullback/wingback but that's where he has played in his whole career to date (including in England youth teams)
He made his debut for us in mid field mate and was a sensation, in our house at least PS had his best games a shields in mid field as well if I remember correctly but shine on,
I dunno why but I thought ogusunyi was pushing 20! Suppose if he can flit between the 23s and 18s it’s not the end of the world him not starting every week for the 23s
He did look decent in CM but every team has played him as a fullback or a wingback so that says it all
Played his best games in the national league in midfield but has since played wing back or full back every season and got promotion in that position

You can disagree but the facts are hes been used as fullback/wingback at every club hes played for. Played fullback for England youth teams so it wasn't just sunderland that played him there If he was a stand out as a CM he would have played there by now. Only played a few games for us there n at south Shields So not sure why you were having a dig at the club for playing him there Not sure why he's being mentioned at all on this thread Ps - he's had a cracking career so far playing as a wingback - love to see academy boys doing well even if it's elsewhere
