Doesn't matter, we can't sell our most influential player now our window is shut and the position we are in. Worth alot more than £4 million, not to drop out of the Championship !
I read it was a €5m offer which we rejected but expect Trabzon to return with a higher offer Article said he has 12 months left on his contract https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/qpr-respond-as-multi-million-pound-offer-lodged-for-key-player/ Hardly the most credible of sources but probably correct
To be clear, I wasn't suggesting we sell him. What I was more concerned about is the buyer. I recall that Trabzonspor tapped up Bright Samuel to get him to run down his contract so that we got tuppence ha'penny for him. They are likely to do so again and if we want real money for him Chair will have to be sold to the highest bidder no later than the start of his final year. Better still sign him up now to a much longer contract but with a release clause to let him go if e receive a decent offer. Wouldn't want them to get him until we have their money (and full value at that) safely in the bank
I would presume talks would take place in the Summer, depending on which division we are in. If we're still in the Championship, then I'd expect us to offer him a new contract, if we're in League 1 then we'll be looking to sell him to the highest bidder. For now all that's important is staying up, and having him fully focused on helping us achieve that !

My loins mainly. I was there for his one horrendous clown show of a game. He now coaches our kids so that’s encouraging.
