It's English football. Man City have set the way to play football in England and almost every club wants to copy. Including the national team. We need to thank Man City for how dreadfully boring football is now to watch in this country.

They do though. They play at walking pace for long periods. Their players are just way too good.

But Swedes and Italians are ok? I dont see the difference.

Irelands greatest manager won the world cup with England.

    Its just another country.

First half signs of promise, specially the Grealish goal, but second half was just like watching the Southgate era, painful, boring and too long before changes were made.

Just like the old Home Internationals. Should have destroyed them but half the team don’t want to get injured. Rice should apologise for not celebrating. You’re either English or not, when he’s decided let us know. Grealish knows.

i don't see why this is a problem. this kind of thing has happened for decades - the first i remember was denis law scoring a backheeler for man city to help relegate man u in 1974. he didn't celebrate, just walked back to the middle with a grim look on his face. but i've see ex-tigers do the same thing here and people have described it as "class". you can't call it class when an ex doesn't celebrate scoring against us and come out with all the expletives when one of our players doesn't go mad after scoring.
