England in trouble, 6 down, just 130 in front, Smith in with the tail, as it were... :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Will the headline be 'Hull saves England'?

Been a very poor couple of days from England. Playing like a meaningless knockabout. Series won yes, but a Test match is a Test match.

Wow. Yorkshire rip through Leics batting - at one stage 15-7, although they’ve recovered slightly and nearing a ton.

i suppose one would normally consider a 5-1 test win for a summer rather good, but this last game has been given away.

15 wickets fell before tea, wonder if the powers that be will investigate the pitch. :emoticon-0138-think

Different sport but as it's Leicester they'll escape sanction even if they do.

    98. yorkshire's reply wasn't going too well, but 138 for the 9th wicket is always useful, with 126 from the wicketkeeper and 88 from the number 10. 379 is a good total after 109/5 and 188/7.

rain interruption with leicester 133/12 and 246 behind. only day two though, so still a good chance of a result.

Weather forecast not good for tomorrow though, and we need the Price brothers to put together a nice 100 plus partnership for Gloucs.

    133/12, don't know about a pitch investigation, but ... :emoticon-0138-think

Hmm looks like we'll probably be relying on Sussex being arsed to beat Middlesex last game, with them already promoted. Middlesex play rock bottom Derbyshire next week

Yeah, we’ve hit form at the right time, but so have the other two. Both seem to be in control of their games, but if there’s a lot of rain in the next couple of days, they may both struggle to bowl opposition out.
According to cricket info, atm we’re two points ahead of Middlesex. They are likely to get two more bowling points. If we both win, that makes us evens going into the last two games. I suspect if teams are level in the table, it would go on most wins? Means it is not quite in our hands, though would be confident if we did get max points (very unlikely), Middlesex would slip up somewhere. It needs Sussex to to slip up somewher, so they need to beat Middlesex final game to win the league

Gloucester have avoided following-on against Middlesex, which I guess gives that game a chance of ending as a draw. Not sure there will be much more play today in Leicester, though, although tomorrow's forecast is good.

a yorkshire win! leicestershire 209 to make 307/20, not enough to reach yorkshire's 379/10.

Middlesex and Gloucester seem to be trying to manufacture a result. Gloucestershire declared behind once Middlesex had claimed full bowling points. I get the feeling Glos might try and chase whatever they get set tomorrow, which will most likely result in them getting bowled out
