Morning - funnily enough was also out last night - middle daughter's mate came and stayed - they are flying out to Barcelona for a long weekend - plus youngest going back to Uni on Sunday - so we all went out - not sure I could do it regularly! Anyway - Dad the Taxi for both the airport today and Uni on Sunday
Mrs luv is pissed off with me. There's an actual Facebook group for our estate which is pretentious enough but the dickhead next door is a proper keyboard warrior in there complaining about parking and people parking on pavements or opposite people's driveways. I don't use social media because I like to annoy people but I got hold of her phone and replied to him with a photo of his car that he parks on the pavement and opposite someone's drive every day. Asking why it's okay for him to do it. Loads of positive replies from some residents laughing away. Mrs luv not happy that I've posted in her name.
Yep, the very same. Can go to bed as early as you want, will still be a ****e night's sleep. Last Sunday, out all afternoon watching the United game, was home early for tea, couple of glasses of wine just to make sure like, then bed for 9.30 as driving back the following morning. ****e sleep, even though I apparently had 9 hours 20 minutes of it! (according to wrist band thingy, although it did say only about 90 minds were a deep sleep) People who say they had six pints and slept like a log or something are talking bollocks.
Out for a curry tonight. With mates, seeing our eldest's off to Uni next week. Last chance get together before we lose them! New place down the road, they took over a nice restaurant that suddenly shut and the menu looks really good, and includes the traditional vindaloo. madras, korma, British standards.
Yes mate - that's how her mate got here - airport is a 20 minute drive for us (and thankfully we are not under the flight path) so will be dropping 3 girls at the drop-off Have you ever had a daughter at University? (can't comment on sons) but her stuff (for the academic year) will fill the boot, back seats and footwells of our SUV ... ... least this one is only going to Reading (train would be into London and then out to Reading) the other 2 were Leeds and Cardiff ...
In Mumbles. It's in Dark Horse, they've kept the name. Reviews I've seen so far are positive, very high standard curries of the usually variety. We'll see. One thing I have noticed, they don't seem to do chapati. I'll have to have a roti or paratha instead, I like a bread side and not a big fan of huge naan's.
They don't do paratha either! Plenty on here to keep me occupied, I don't need to be worrying about chapati. Menu | The Dark Horse (darkhorsemumbles.co.uk)
Charity gig tonight, 3 bands giving their time up for nowt for us, no charge from the venue either. Infact one of the bands are giving us any profit they make from any merch they sell
