We've had 5 of those at the CCS already, don't get too greedy!!

Ok, they've all been in the cup but hey, beggars can't be choosers :emoticon-0105-wink:

Tough opener for the Welsh team tonight, especially as they took will be trying to get to grips with a new way of playing.

I can't remember which player said it but they've said a "few errors have been occurring" during training whilst they get used to it.
The feeling is that the Nations League is very much being viewed as the experimental proving ground in readiness for World Cup qualifying games.

Could be a bumpy ride for us all, but we're used to that by now anyway aren't we??

Yep, it's important to have patience with Bellers and his lads as they start a new era. I'm excited for the future but understand how difficult things may be in the short term.

Easy to say in hindsight and of course different players but Bellamy surely could have got a more up tempo and enhanced performance out of our current squad.

Back to Wales which is what this thread is about.
We've done well so far and missed an absolute sitter.
Turkey only interested in spoiling. Their No9 seems a nice chap

Got a bit fractious just before half time.
Wales need to keep their cool.
They've got the winning of this.

Definitely need to stay calm now. This ref looks easily persuaded and he might even it up.

Moore getting ready to come on. You can bet your bottom dollar there'll be some antics from Turkey trying to get him sent off.

Just watching the rain falling at CCS. We could do with some of that up here in Cheshireland.
Boiling hot and bone dry here.

Decent performance. Quite a few half chances, but nothing clear cut.
    A good building block.

Encouraging and more positive than the dirge under Page but for all that endeavour the Turkish keeper was largely a bystander.

    Unlucky lads.
Lots of positives. If I'm being hyper critical, Johnson needs to work on his delivery and I didn't understand the introduction of Moore.
However, I'm sticking with the positives and really believe we can build on this.
    Well done Bellers

Ramsey did more in 70 minutes for Wales than in 3 games for us.

Of course he had better players around him but h looked much more like the player we know.

    Isn't Wales "us" then?
I thought he did ok too but still can't help feeling that he's trying to be all things to all men to the detriment of his own game. I guess it's laudable in way because he takes the captaincy seriously.
Ampadu continues to improve at international level and Thomas was outstanding.
I also enjoyed watching Bellers and the way he interacted with his players. The respect in both directions was almost palpable and I think he's one of these people that can lead without being bossy.
None of this is to be disrespectful of Page who took over in difficult circumstances and kept the ship afloat.
I'm also delighted with the Welsh FA (haven't said that very often) with their dogged determination to keep a Welshman at the helm.
It's all looking very positive with more short, medium and long term strategies in place.
