The streaming giant will be showing the top Tuesday match each week during the new league phase

Be interesting to see how Leverkusen get on this season
They already look like they are having a few issues
Will be a test for Alonso now

Funny looking a list.

We've gone out of our way to include nallo and nyoni using the spare foreign slots as thry are not at club long enough ough to qualify for b list.

A kind of interesting statement to make but we did have the 2 spaces we "failed" to fill in the transfer window.

Hill is in which is bizarre given he's nowhere near the first team

The 4 club trained planned would be trent, gomez, kelleher and Jones.

But we are making up the rest with the lack of signings from English hg players by using hill and morton and jaros.

So if you think. OK nallo and nyoni and jaros and hill and morton. None get near a pitch in thee cl. So it'd 24 man squad minus 5 right off as filler is 19 players.

Then add 3 b listers to make it up to 22.

 

The Baloon Door shortlists are out and not one lfc player made it anywhere close to nominations for player or young player.

Disappointing, especially when you see some of the other names on the list.

Only one would be Mamardashvilli for the keeper award if we can claim him.

 

Honestly, I wouldn't consider any of our players to be Balloon Door contenders either.

 

You wouldn’t have put Alisson above Ronwen Williams from Mamelodi Sundowns?

I’d have put Alisson above pretty much most of the goalkeepers on that list.

Vvd and TAA had very good seasons last year - could have easily put them ahead of some of the players in the list.

Saka got 16 goals and 9 assists last year and is included ahead of Salah who got 18 goals and 10 assists in less games.

Alison definitely would be my nominee from our team if I were to pick one.... honestly though, I don't know much about the other keepers on the list.

 

Messi will still be winning it when he's 70.

 

I agree with all of this but feel the need to point out that Alisson also missed half the season through injury

 

missed 10 games in prem.

Also looking at him, last year was the first year since 18/19 that he didn’t have a goal involvement for us! Mental to think from a keeper

 

I didn't look but I assume the guy carried to.a second copa was nominated and the little donkey who carried him (macca).was not?

 

Nope first year since about 1985 that neither ronaldo or messi on the shortlist.

 

Looking back, I realised my could be taken as a negative view. It wasn't, I was saying he was outstanding despite missing a lot of games
