U21/U18 matches

I thought we should have offered a similar role to Grant LeadBitter at the time, but am more than happy with Graeme Murty.

 

Always came across as an angry little twat imo. Not a great deal of ability but liked to make the game a bit spikey.

 

I know they didn’t get on to play but the likes of Crompton and Jones being on the first team bench Saturday will be massive for them, they’ll still be buzzing

They’ll come back into the 21s full of confidence and eager to show their worth once again.

 

Didn't he con a penalty at Roker a few years back, its a distant memory , but you describe him well.

Doesn't strike me as the sort of character I'd want around an u21 squad tbh. Might have all changed now, but he was a bit of a dick iirc. Leadbitter would be a much better type to have around ours if we went down that road.

Playing not too long ago with one of my favourite ever players at this level in recent times one Olly Younger marshalling the defence, how their paths have differed, football can be a cruel master at times.
