The commentators didnt even pick up on it.

Who knows. They could have done a deal last time that he'd only sign for that amount of time and thats that.

He said they have not even offered him a deal.

Same as van dijk. No offer.

People should be looking squarely at fsg and hughes and saying what the actual **** are you at.

Pretty clear they have looked that the new 70% revenue rules and said nope we cant afford these wages now imo.

They've left the door wide open to lose two of the only 3 really world class plauers we have and replaced the third buy buying a keeper.

Obviously I want to win and I want the best manager possible. As long as they're not Satan, Jose Mourinho or Tony Pulis, I can live with some personality flaws.

Just saying: I don't think I'm going to personally like Slot as much as Klopp. Not that I don't want him to be manager.

The only major downside to someone who doesn't form an emotional attachment to the club is, that they could be easier to tempt away by other clubs..
. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there. For right now, as long as he keeps doing well he has my full backing.

In fairness slot is a nice lad from this distance.

Benetiz won 2 trophies and finished 2nd

Klopp won the lot. He transcended any sort of managerial.role to be a true legendary leader.

But klopp got tired and shouldn't have signed that second deal when he dis.. in the end he ran out of steam but enjoyed his last season

What the club did was poor around it as they simply didn't put in the structures until he announced he was going.

Klopp was allowed see his entire midfield fall apart under him rather than really push to keep it fresh then. We are benefitting now from klopp buying 3 great little cms.

Slot has to be ruthless with this squad from here. It's not good enough for this full season. Having a great time now but start taking a couple out and drop in the bang average endo and tsimilas and the like and we are not quite so hot.

Hopefully a bit of ruthlessness doesn't mean not offering world class players who are top pros a year extension.

Slot from that interview looks a very clever tactician and analyst of opponents and isn't afraid of calling out players for things he didn't like, Diaz not tracking back and Trent for a poor pass

Klopp is the past. Stop living in the past.

Slot and no other manager anywhere can be compared to the love for klopp.

Call it like I see it.

Reality is both paluers have been clear they've not got an offer so every single big club out there should be contacting their agents right now

    Pretty clear.

Or they concentrated on the transfer window and now that's shut they'll speak about contracts

Maybe Salah saying this in public is meant to tell FSG to get your act together. There's one thing Salah going to Saudi when he's been offered an extension instead of going because the club didn't want to to stay.

    Nah.

The club might have a different message but the players are clear.

Nobody has walked up to mo salah and even started discussing offers.

You know the twitter crew will have forgotten what we just did and be focused on only that.

    Really good team display today

Maybe, maybe not, we'll have to see.
As I've said before, I can't be arsed trying to run the club from my armchair. We have no idea what's going on behind the scenes and jumping to conclusions based on little or no evidence is just pointless.
Constantly looking for something to criticise seems to me to be a rather self-destructive pastime.
Just enjoy the ride, it might turn out to be better than you think.

Did Onana actually make a save today? or just dive around when the goals went in?

Carragher has just said that Onana was dreadful in his attempt to stop Salah's shot.

Rumours going around that Casimiro left OT after being subbed, didn't stick around for the 2nd half.

Saudi window still open, it'd be best for him if he could engineer a move there. Off to a big fat contract and semi-retirement.

Personally I hope he stays at MU and plays every game against us. <laugh>

3 games jn and Gravenberch looks a different player. This progressive 6 seems to suit him perfectly. He has the athleticism to get around and close down, interception lead to the first goal and won plenty of tackles.

Think in past we’ve needed a fab type to cover ground win tackles as we’ve had 2 8s leaving him exposed but in this double 6 role, don’t need to be tearing around winning tackles, more just about about keeping position and blocking lanes which both Mac and Grav have done brilliantly.

Obviously still tougher tests to come but they are looking a great little partnership so far

    Again reality isn't negative.

Negative is saying all 3 are definitely going no matter what.

Reality is both world.class players have said the club has made no offer to them

Blocking lanes is exactly what's.going on. Block the lanes until they jam themselves in a corner or hoof it long.

The 4.men at tje top are not haring at everything they are doing the same and it's really working for us so far.

With klopp you'd see all 3 cms go at the same ball at the same time and one pass and we were wide open.

Plenty of evidence mate. Both players have been very clear to us. Neither has an offer.

How's that jumping to a conclusion.

It's an ironed on fact thst the transfer window is closed and those two players have no contract offer and no replacement bought and neither were sold.

It was clear mane was going amd diaz was signed.

It was clear firmino wanted to go and gave the long goodbye and we got in a replacement.

None of these things are guesses.

Plus I never said a word about the outcome being a sure thing. Only that the door is wide open for every big clubs going to make all 3 an offer now and that can't be a guess either. It's an obvious fact of the matter.
