Never a second's thought about 'what we have we hold' as we've seen so often in the past ... ... this was courageous.
The confidence and momentum is building in this young team and spreading to the support. This is a great place to play at when this is all coming together at the same time. Bellingham and Rigg are going to the very top if they keep their heads and aren't unlucky with injuries imo. Our midfield has been different class every game in this league so far. Long may it continue. Could have done without the break tbf.
Still buzzing from yesterday's win, annoying that there's a poxy international break for the next 2 weeks
Yes mate. We had a good dose of being set up not to lose last season, which went against how these players want to play. This seasons approach suits our players and they are executing it perfectly.
You sit back following the game and watch some of the interviews you have to appreciate the skill set we have in this squad. Jobe, Rigg, Roberts, Browne etc etc. Can imagine most of Championship teams looking on with envy. Despite the over the top meltdowns on Friday we are very lucky and thankful to be where we are.
Sitting on a beach in Italy and instead of looking at the glorious eye candy I'm watching replays and singing reg lebris reg lebris!!!! This club man
I bet there are still 'papering over the cracks' comments and 'they'll burn themselves out playing at this pace'
Jobe has played three different roles/positions within it without breaking stride, at 18years old, in the Championship. Brilliant stuff.
I think people are entitled to their opinions whether good or bad, unfounded or founded. The recent history of the club shows that we leave ourselves light at times. I still think we are light up front and 4 games is no time to suddenly suggest Mayenda is the answer to our problems up front (particularly as he was criticised in 2 of those 4 games for not offering enough)
I take your point. BUT Please, can we not just enjoy the fact we've won 4 in a row and bask in the reflected glory. We can worry about things later But, hopefully we won't have to
Great quote from the Portsmouth lad as he's leaving the ground: "There's an imperial, enigmatic youthfulness about them at times that we just couldn't deal with"
Being in the habit of reading our opponents forums after the matches ive noticed, after all 4 games, some saying along the lines of 'Sunderland werent that good/were poor, its just we were terrible or worse.' Has there been any element of truth in that or has it just been sour grapes?
We’ve nullified every team and conceded the least xg in the league how could we possibly not be good averaging 2.5 goals a game aswell
