Feels like these latest transfers really are next level, loved the glimpses we saw of Isidor and Poveda
If you search Jong Gent on YouTube plenty highlights from last season come up. Gent are normally playing in blue
Wish the full 90 was out tonight to watch, missed the game but saw the goals. Money spent on Aleksic and Abdoullahi is quite significant! Must be someone really fancying the latter. These are the types of players that would have went for half that not long ago. Bad news that Stansfield to Birmingham deal.
More potential than Clarke I would say. Clarke's strengths are his finishing, fitness and consistency, which are all great traits but Mundle looks to be a fair bit more talented on the ball and seems to be able to hit it with both feet. Stamina and consistency yet to be properly tested but looks good in those departments so far.
Mentioned it a few times but Mundle was always the more impressive when i watched them both at Spurs. Mundle needs to be consistent as Clarke was effective n dangerous most weeks. A few of us said in the summer that we were really excited about Mundle this yr
Been shot down by a fair few people when trying to make some of your points. Jack could dribble, but Mundle does it with pace and power.
Mundle is a talent and now its time to prove it week in week out. Spurs wanted him to sign a 5 yr deal before he went to Belgium- thats how high he was rated!! Folk wrote hin off far too quickly imo, he came in at a time when we were a joke and he lacked match fitness. Need to give players time to settle before writing them off
My only disappointment from today was Wilson not going down the middle and Watson not coming on ahead of Rusyn.
The thing that impresses me with Mundle is that he’s not as predictable as Clarke. Clarke was always going to cut in. Mundle either cuts in or goes wide. Not a slight on Clarke as even tho he was predictable he was often unstoppable
