Neither did the previous manager with a better squad. Give the new one a chance.

He’s gone, get over it. His replacement is here now & is out his depth.

Been forced to play a fairly limited hand thus far. Though I must admit I'm not seeing that much confidence in the system as of yet.

It'll either come or it won't.

He’s had five competitive games. Do you hear yourself?

I was told from the horses mouth that Bruce had already spent £80m and 'wanted more' .The club ( or the Allams?) didn't have more and spending more could have seriously bankrupt the club. Hence the need for the negociations for players and wages etc to be taken out of Bruce's hands. If that was the right decision or not, I do not know, it wasnt my family that was responsible for signing all the cheques. I thought at the time that losing Steve Bruce was disaterous for us. That was my view as a supporter. The view of the owners was obviously different.
As will the views of other posters but that is what I was told.

I saw no angry hissy-fitting over Roseniors demise(granted I don't do podcasts). In the main I saw, read and heard that very few disagreed and I suspected at the time and still do that a lot of fans went along with Illicali because they saw him as a saviour who could do no wrong.

The cracks are starting to appear with that theory now and people are becoming much more vocal regarding his promises and his involvement with Turkish Football...If things do start to go pear-shaped and Tim Walters is binned due to lack of points then so be it but my scrutiny will go a bit further than blaming a German bloke who's been hamstrung thus far.

Yeh, absolutely. He’s played give ir take the same team in all the league games. None have shown any indication of his style of play. Even though most of those players were here for, and contributed to, an extremely poor pre-season,

This isn’t the German 2nd division. He failed there with a bigger budget when considered against the rest of the league & he’s out of his depth here.

Bruce knew that they were looking at relegation and didnt want to be part of it.
I'm sure they could have spent an amount that was less than the Premier League income and still had a good stab at staying up
The club could have paid transfer fees over the period of contracts and in the short term looked to sell the club

My take was that most were against it, but at least understood the logic when the owner explained his thinking and were willing to go with the benefit of doubt. Think the majority consensus was, and still is that time would tell if it was the right decision or not.

That said, we wouldn't have been able to sustain the level of investment we saw from last January onwards regardless of who the coach is.

I would also determine preseason doesn't count considering its mostly getting about minutes in the legs

I'm sure he'd be more than happy to drop a division and return:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Do you think Acun would be willing to sort out his contract severance, wage demands and choice of players?

there was plenty of complaints on not606
the people who attended the meeting were run of the mill City fans
I dont think anybody thinks Acun can do no wrong
    Just think Shota
You seem to be confused even about Tim Walter. The vast majority think the problem is with recruitment not the manager.

He has a credible squad now though, so the next 10 games will be illuminating.
