Blossoms has been announced as the first band to accompany Oasis on their massive tour next year, according to reports. The band, established in 2013 and with three UK number one albums under their belt, hail from Stockport.
Don't quote me on this. My lad is playing a gig tonight and rumours around support acts are rife. Fontaines a strong rumour for everywhere. Kasabian at Wembley, Courteeners at Manchester. The Ks as well. Fontaines, Kasabian then Oasis would be a hell of a lineup. Even I would be impressed, and I prefer Kraftwerk...
Blossoms are definitely doing Heaton Park. Seen an interview where they were saying it was full circle as Oasis there was their first ever gig. LCD Sound System or Kasabian would have been my picks out of the bunch of them.
Hanging my hat on them doing another Wembley date. got a room booked for London. If we don’t get tickets the mrs wants go see back to the future musical. I quite fancy doing the lords cricket ground tour.
I love them me. Really good live. More guitar pop than Oasis, but they write their own stuff and hold their own. Sounds really random and ****, but they done a Smiths set with Rick Astley at glasto last year that, imo, was really good. Love the smiths but there's zero chance they'll get back together
It'll probably more than likely be blossoms, considering at the end of their recent gig, they had that Oasis promo on a projector, before the like you know Noel & Liam Gallagher socials posted it.
Blossoms were the first live gig to show the date:time on the screen at the end of their last gig apparently and also apparently friendly with the band as well.
Aye. Will be them. But I am just not into them at all. Seen them live before and tried to get into their tunes. Not for me.
Aye K's aren't the best. Seen them support The Reytons down Sheffield last year. I like Blossoms, put on a good show. You like what you like tbf. As long as you have a good time that's all that matters. Nothing will compare to Oasis though.
