Over the years we have had to sit and watch clubs get the right gaffer at the right time and just go up levels. Finally it’s us, Reg is another level. You can’t comprehend the organisation and coordination of it all. Every player is better than they were. I just want to state the obvious here, Chris Rigg is going to be the most outrageous player we have ever produced, I struggle to comprehend that he’s 17. If he doesn’t get 100 caps for England ill eat my own arse.
Its a mark of the man that I bet Luke O'Nien is absolutely gutted with that OG. Game won comfortably, 4 wins from 4, 10 goals for and only 1 against. Needless to say you bleed red and white lad.

This is why we have to push for promotion. If we don't go up, these 2 probably go next summer (for more than we got for Clarke but sub £30m). If we go up, we probably keep them at least an extra season and when they go it could be for Caicedo or at least Lavia type fees which can be transformative.
Really enjoying the Echo content recently, I think James Copley and Phil Smith are very two talented local football reporters, they get the balance right between the views of the fanbase and delicately managing their relationship with the club. Best I've seen at the Echo for a good few years. Hopefully more to come.
Leeds got £40m for Gray having played him at right back all season. There’ll be more interest in those two next summer than there was for Clarke if we don’t manage to get up - and it’ll be from clubs FAR higher up the pyramid too.
After the years we have had, this is the proudest a Sunderland team has made me. Even last season when the going got tough, there was still an affinity with the players and the fans (I felt). RLB has come and and seems to be the perfect character to bring that all together, tactically and personally. I’ve been so impressed by him. We battered Pompey today, away from home, with Dan Neil suspended and new signings still to get up to speed. Mayenda’s performance level provides us with a lot of comfort. I just love every single one of them. We go in to the international break on maximum points. Fantastic chance to get the new lads up to speed and integrated in to the system. Think this season could be rather special.
He’s growing and getting better by game hats off to the coaching staff working on his weak points we’ve got some player in there
Ok I am going to say this and then put my tin hat on. We are seeing that Dodds and Proctor are actually good coaches. What they are not is head coach material.
The fact he’s come in alone (for now) and galvanised the places speaks volumes about him, gem is our Reggie
So nice to beat Pompy comfortably like I knew we could. They're lucky we weren't at our best. Think going off the first four games, the fans and home advantage are gonna be massive this season. With that in mind, we are 5-1 on aggregate for our away games in the league, seriously impressive. Mayenda done wonderfully for the Mundle goal, as of course did Rigg... I hear he was brilliant and that Jobe also played a different role very well for such a young lad. I'd be disappointed if they both somehow left next summer and we got anything less than 80 million for the pair. Don't care what anyone says.
I hope you're right but it might be worth taking up yoga in the meantime time. That sounds like hell on the old spine.
