I don't think Leeds will either on todays showing. They were nothing special at all.

The only position we have better than Leeds is goalkeeper ffs. Rodon and Strujik is the best centre back partnership in the division. Bogle is the best right back, Firpo cost them £15m, Ampadu is arguably the best DM, Gnonto and Solomon 2 of the best wingers and Joseph is a top top prospect. Light years ahead.

    Disagree
Id be very surprised if they are not fighting for autospots
Most championship performances are nothing special
    Its a ridiculously long season
3/4 of the season is grinding out wins

We were great at that under bruce

Stating the obvious, we have to be patient.
We aren't playing as a team yet.
Giles and Millar just aren't gelling at all yet. They were both getting as frustrated as hell most of the game. Hopefully it will come as they could be good down the left but for now they just aren't on anything like the same wavelength.
It's odd that we've stopped playing through central midfield. Hardly any build up from the back goes through CM. I don't get why not.
Walter now has a bit of time to sort things out and to make those tough selection decisions that need making.
At least we do now have options.

people say we are stretching the opponents creating space for our midfield to take advantage of
in reality we pass the ball around a few yards from goal risking conceding a goal until we cant think of anything better than a wild kick upfield

It’s really worrying, they just don’t work at all. Millar doesn’t find him when he makes good runs.

Yes, but it's the fact they've given considerable game time to Rigg, (other) Bellingham and Neil rather push out with loans. All three will go on to bigger things but probably deliver huge transfer fees as well as playing well when they are there. Rigg in particular has enormous promise

I can’t imagine how TW must be feeling atm but he wants to in-still his way of playing as a team and he should stick to it as it was never going to be successful from day one, the players who have come in will have known how he wants to play and the players that were already here will have gained some experience from it and it may take till Dec to really kick in.

He deserves the time to get it sorted after all he was told this is a project in the works over a few years but then LR was also told that, my concern is that he won’t get that time for whatever reason and I could see another change in 6 months even if it is slowly coming right.

    Its short term frustrating
    Long term extremely benifical
And like you say will pay off massively for them with transfer fees etc

Meanwhile we spent a fortune on short term loans that have ****ed us financially
And also needing almost a new team

    early days.
lots of new players to integrate.
    we're not getting whupped.
still pretty tight at the back, despite no greaves.
apart from sheff utd who've only played three, and swansea, you have to go to the top 7 to find teams that have conceded fewer.

Our biggest problem is that we didn't have proper players when we met relegation teams. Now we need to climb mountain.

    Agree
I think weve been pretty poor so far
But he should get the time he needs
We need to be a long term project
