We played like a bottom half side today, battled well and had some bright spells but didn't do enough all over the park and conceded soft goals that we couldn't dream of scoring. Ultimately losing to a team that outclassed us, rather than going toe to toe with a peer. Need to pray the new lads fit in, kick on, and stay fit. We're a bottom half side as it stands.
It’s amazing how fickle it is. We’ve more than matched them today, difference has been a moment of brilliance from an excellent Solomon, then we’ve conceded on the counter going for it.
Still playing like it’s the first time they’ve played together. Absolutely no progress being made. We have time to get a competent Manager in before the next game.
Maybe if we’d played sheff u and leeds first two games it might have prompted the management to push on for new signings earlier we have some good players but it takes time for them to gel as a team so disappointing and predicted by some of us
Its professional football Having some bright spots in a game is not a good benchmark Weve created **** all
Because it was Acun’s decision to get rid of him and since then we’ve been like a drowning man treading water with his hands tied behind his back. We’ve lost Rosenior’s controlled style and got something which so far is far worse.
"Potential" is all we have, plus a few bottom half Championship stalwarts. I don't see things suddenly changing after the break either. A summer of chaos has got what it deserves
The result and performance being that predictable doesn’t make it any less disappointing. We need a rethink over the international break, big time. Jarvis coming on was ridiculous, aside from one dribble he looked completely out of his depth there.
I more meant people are defending Walter by somehow trying to suggest Rosenior was worse, which is a laughable excuse. Walter is his own man, he's had a month's worth of games.
