Neil Warnock 63 today. And in a coincidental FLASHBACK! ========================== NEIL WARNOCK fears high-flying West Brom could give him a dose of the birthday blues. The Crystal Palace boss turns 59 today and is planning a party with his family after the clash with the Baggies at Selhurst Park. But Warnock reckons second-placed Albion could ruin his day after labelling them the "best team in the Championship". He said: "I've got birthday party plans, with balloons and a nice cake with candles and everything. "Once you get past 50, you don't enjoy them so much but the children like it and my eldest is coming down so it should be a nice weekend. "I just hope the result doesn't spoil it. A good result would be the icing on the cake, so to speak, but it'll be a real test of how far we've come. Best team in league "West Brom are the best team in the league and have the best players. "They should have gone up last year and they would have held their own in the Premier League." Warnock was at Sheffield United for the infamous 'Battle of Bramall Lane' with West Brom in 2002. The game was abandoned after United, 3-0 down, were left with six players due to red cards and injuries. Albion boss Gary Megson accused Warnock of trying to get the match declared void. Warnock insists there is no bad blood with the Baggies but could not resist a pop at his old rival Megson, now in charge at Bolton. He added: "I've no problem with West Brom. They're a very well-run club and I've a lot of time for them. "The only reason there was any problem was because Gary Megson was in charge. And they certainly wouldn't be playing such good football if he was still there!" iReader http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article529931.ece
