It’s really not about the match tbh. We’ll lose games like this at some point and hopefully be able to brush them off as bad days at the office. The feral state of the fanbase is what I’m worried about right now. Doesn’t matter what the story of the 90 mins is, a defeat today will be dressed up by many as a referendum on speakman, KLD, the kits and the ****ing tea lady. As a fan base we are massively overdue a mindset shift. We’re never gonna get up if a defeat is always the worst thing that’s ever happened in the history of the club and a reason why Billy ****ing Storey would be a better bet.
