They produced their best performance of the season at Hillsborough last weekend, proving there's life after Rutter, despite his level of contributions last season. Belgium hotshot Largie Ramazani, and Israeli International Manor Solomon will go a long way to softening the blow, but only if Leeds can bring further in further reinforcements, before the transfer window slams shut! The Tigers too have experienced significant upheaval this Summer. Tim Walter has replaced Liam Rosenior at the helm, and has had a complete clear out which has seen 18 players leave and 13 new faces arrive, including Cody Drameh and Liam Millar. Left-back Ryan Giles (£5.3m) and centre-half Charlie Hughes (£4.7m) have been drafted in to tighten up their leaky defence. They concede at a rate of 1.54 expected goals per game, the fifth worst in the Championship, but are only one of nine teams not to lose yet (in the league) this season. They are expected to complete the signing of former Leeds stalwart Liam Cooper before Friday's deadline - how awkward is that going to be.... Leeds have no new injury concerns. Max Wober's calf injury is expected to miraculously clear up if interest from Borussia Mönchengladbach materialises. Largie Ramazani has received his work permit, and could start whilst Manor Solomon has a long way to go until he reaches full fitness.
Aski's prediction for this game is Leeds 3 Hull 1, with our scorers being Joseph, James and Bogle. Both ChatGPT and Google Gemini predict Leeds to win 2-1
Morning all. In Majorca with the family and my brother’s family. A small town called Santanyi, so small not one bar shows the football so will miss this one.
Alright, lads - thought you lot were in the PL - never mind, eh? As for tomorrow's game, I can see a clear 2 goal victory for yourselves. We've had a massive overhaul of players plus a new manager who is still cutting his teeth in the Championship. I don't think we have much up front to trouble you (Unless we sign someone decent before midday tomorrow) and of the 2 goals we have scored this season, 1 was a pen and 1 was a worldie - neither of which you get every week! At the end of the season I reckon anyone who finishes above you and Burnley will get automatic promotion. I reckon we are in for a season of mid-table mediocrity.
First game in a while i will miss as in live as im flying so fingers crossed i open my phone with a blistering win. 2-0 to us goal each half.
Hull have lots of new faces and as yet have to settle in. I am predicting 3 - 0 although I am surprised that Farke let everyone know that Dan James is out injured in his press conference? I am hoping Joseph scores today, this player has brought so much more to our front line, his work is exceptional in my eyes, one thing I’m disappointed in us that Bamford hasn’t gone in the transfer window, he’s a liability.
Fair play to Bamford, he does his best to help by being injured most of the time. Not playing nor on the bench is his best position.
I now have hope after our last performance, 3-0 Leeds , but as we all know being Leeds fans it doesn't always work out that way because it's the hope that kills.
