Yeah. If you have proof of the deal being agreed, all negotiation having ended and the base level of paperwork being done, you can get your lawyers two more hours to get the rest finished
From memory it's a notification to the FA/Premier League saying the transfer is going through but there are still details to iron out so it's not fully signed and sealed. So basically a request for a short extension.

It hadn’t exactly gone quiet. It’s just there wasn’t a constant stream of updates every 15-20 minutes
