Frey has everything Dykes had ...but seems to fight harder, is stronger and can score. Nardi great saves Cook absolute rock Field so solid. Dembele will destroy some of the weaker teams. Madsen needs time but can see he will be good. Varane is looking more solid each match Only Saito is underwhelming...but he too needs time The future is bright
Really? I desperately want this lad to do well but I thought he looked like a deer in the headlights when he got the ball up front (though once this ended with a pass to Andersen who did nothing with it) and was several yards off closing down Luton players when they were in possession, which was really all he had to do at that stage of the game. Really odd performance. Great start, then out of it and lucky to be only one down, two great goals and thoroughly professional ‘game management’ minus ****housery to see the game out. **** knows what’s going on with this team.
Few decent performances tonight, Frey motm by some way, even when they were on top he was doing his job well both ends of the pitch. Fouled several times on the way for the equaliser.
That was fantastic...heads came up after the equaliser and looked much better defensively...also great use of subs at the right times. Also it was Luton
Probably under order to retan shape.... if he presses and no one else does he's taken out the game.... don't have a problem with that.... plus he's still an outlet and keeps defenders in check..... Still nice problem to have.... really good 2nd half performance.... well taken goals and some nice controlled football....
I think we need to give a big shout out for Smyth. He gets a bit of stick on here but once he came on the game changed and this is not the first time. His pace can unnerve a defence.
Also a big shout out to Nardi and (after Tuesday) Walsh how good is it to have 2 young goalkeepers who don’t scare the life out of us?
