Indeed, but if I'd only asked it like that we'd have all kinds suggested, like Mourinho, Klopp, etc.

Understood - I read your whole post and offered my opinion. But we know what some of these farm animals are like on here.

    Managers currently available

    Potter
    Poch
    Joachim Low
    Thomas Tuchel
    Massimo Allegri
    Rafa

Out of them lot would depend on if they wanted age and experience or younger.

Not saying I want rid of Howe at all, but something has changed and not in a positive way. I'm personally seeing far too much of this get an early lead and sit back and defend. It's ****ing awful watching it.

I think we'll evolve from that. Window's shut and we have a fairly stellar starting line-up. It's a far cry from this:

    Dubravka

    Lascelles Fernandez Clark

    Yedlin Diame Ki Atsu Ritchie

    Perez Rondon

That's 2018.We got beat off Wolves at home.

We would be on the next level now if we hadn't lost so many players with injury / suspension last season.
So to my mind to change the manager is hugely risky. PSR stops the Mbappes. We can't just buy things at this present moment.

Howe seems to have the players onside. He's a good coach and has had our team close to being top scorers last season.

I do however conceed that our owners may want a Champions League regular in charge. We don't hear much about how satisfied the big lads in Saudi are. Howe may be very much a short term manager in their plans.

There's very much been a drop off in positive PR from the club since Amanda and Mehrdad left. There's not the same amount of social media posts from Jamie Reuben these days either.

My fear at the moment from a business point of view is I think they're trying to put the cart before the horse.

They've got Silverstone trying to drum up sponsorship partners around the world without any big names or trophies to show. Pretty much trying to drum up business on promises that may or may not come to fruition.

They're flying around the ****ing world trying to drum up foreign support globally without really taking care of their home support first and foremost. Yeah the stadium got a lick of paint, the windows got washed and they stuck some flags up in the concourses. Big ****ing deal. Even new homeowners and tenants give a new property a clean and lick of paint.

I still don't understand what the hell the point of that post season trip to Australia was all about.

There was the complete cluster **** of announcing Emery before it was signed on the dotted line, that mistake was then re-done with Freedman from Palace for the DOF role. Guarantee they spouted off to Freedman how much was available this summer and then they wonder how the **** it's being difficult to do a deal for Guehi. If I was Freedman I'd have done exactly the same.

There's been a major falling out with Ashworth somewhere along the line meaning he left. There's been the appointments of dozens and dozens of backroom staff, half of these being Ashworth's scouts yet most these positions were advertised on the clubs website for any tom dick or harry to apply for.

I still don't understand how the **** they bought Strawberry Place and decided a Fan Zone was a good idea without having the stadium feasibility study done. Surely if that came back and said extend the Gallowgate using that site then that would have made more sense than signing a multi year licencing agreement to Stack. That's going to be yet another legal contract to stump up on to get out of early if need be. If we need to move grounds then the purchase of Strawberry Place was just a complete waste of time and money.

Finally the man that's now in charge - Darren Eales, is getting bevvied up singing chants on ****ing microphones in front of thousands, on more than one occasion like he's a skinny Mike Ashley. All we need is him to start stripping and whipping himself with his belt and we'll have the drunken buffoonery boss, to go with that God Damned mother ****ing mystical transfer line that people can't get across.

And in addition to this we have the manager going all huffy in press conferences and trying to play ****e defensive football as if he's a ****ing skinny Rafa.

We've all been here before, DeJa Vu........Other than ToonBoy, he's too young to remember <laugh>

    I honestly don't know.

The clubs that do well favour longevity. Chelsea used to do well with getting the best mangers on under Abramovich and sacking them after they won the league, and that's a thing of the past now and they're ****ing up with constant new managers.

Right now I think everything's pretty good, transfer window wasn't the best but our team is decent, stick with what we have.

I'd take Tommy Tickles like 100%, he's a bit barking mad but not as ****ing mental as Jose! He's a different level to anything we've ever had and probably head and shoulders above everyone else on that list in my opinion. Out of the above Tommy Tickles is probably the only one capable of playing the kind of football needed in the PL these days....not with half the players we have currently mind but I'd be ****ing ecstatic if we could reel him in and give him a big wedge of money to bring in his own players over a 3-5 year period.

This post (which I totally agree with) more or less qualifies you to swap allegiance to the bedwetters and we are accepting applicants.

This is a good post. It does indeed get harder to improve year on year.

Next season we should be able to spend 150m.

Howe will either be doing well or he will be out the door.

There’s an argument to say that Howe has had his lot and to get any more money spent he has to deliver.

Our start to the season has been good on paper but it papers over some massive cracks.

    Our intensity just isn’t there.
