Kenny is certainly hitting his straps. He seems to be getting better and better.

Still not sure how much better Turner is than Gerrard or Hudson, but seems to be 1st choice of the 3. I think he will get better still now his injuries are behind him.

What's good is that you could add Whitts, Marshall (and Heaton - what a 2nd choice keeper), McNaughton to that list easily. There are a few others not far behind.

    CCFC remote.

Im not knocking you as you live miles away. But have you seen much of Turner?

The gulf in class and ability yesterday between Turner and Gerrard mas massive.

Turner is now match fit and is a class apart.

Its a matter of who plays alongside him. For me it would be Darcy.

Gerrard is a ok Championship centre half. Turner looks too good for this division.

While McNuggs has been captain in name for the last 2 games, the real organiser and motivator at the back has been Turner. Definitely future actual team captain. What a snip at £750k.

Were it not for Calamity Gezza in the first half of the last 2 games we would look impregnable at the back. In fairness to Gezza he was much improved 2nd half of both games. <ok>

Wasn't there last night but Turner was immense against Forest on Saturday. He can tackle, pass the ball and even shows pace. An amazing buy who will only get better with a few more games behind him. My only fear is that he'll get snapped up by a Premiership club.

I've not Hilts so am happy to be put straight. It's only what I hear on the radio, or highlights, hence me saying I don't know how much better he is as I've not been able to judge. It is often easier to appreciate the input of a striker over a defender when not seeing the games as a lot of defensive work is unsung. You are more likely to hear about the mistakes than the positive contribution.

If he is a class apart, well done to MM.

I think once fit Turner was always going to play as MM bought him, the others mentioned were left from the previous regime. I have to say though last night Turner and Gunnarson were head and shoulders the best players on the pitch (my opinion)

I work with a guy who's a Coventry fan. He was fizzling about us getting Gunnarson and apoplectic about Turner coming here.
He keeps muttering about a future England centre half going for peanuts.

As for class Turner hit one long pass from left backish to McNaughton out wide right and there was a definite delay before
the applause started. Our centre halves aren't supposed to do that.

Thought Gunnarsson had one of his best game for Cardiff, Turner was class.

    Gunnar is top quality.
Turner is Prem class, he's a different league to any other centre half at our club and definately one of the best in the division.
The way he just stands there rock solid as the oppositions centre forward backs in, then shrugs him off and wins the header EVERY TIME has made a huge difference to us. He is the defination of a rock solid CB. He also reads the game brilliantly and hardly makes a mistake whilst seeming predicting the mistakes of others and bailing them out too!
Matt Mills £5mil or Turner £750K - Great work by MM!

Kiss was that good or maybe better away at Derby too.

I did say to keep the faith on Miller and thankfully for all of us he's looking the player I claimed (maybe hoped a little) he could be for us. His movement is absolutely top draw. Can't believe the post robbed him of one of the goals of the season on Tuesday night.
