Lot's of weird new terminology, like how numbers are used, seem to be common these days.
I've seen an argument where CF "centre forward" is being distinguished from striker or number 9.
Centre forward now means most advanced of the forward players, but not number 9, so what we used to call an attacking midfielder. Too much too young these bairns.
I'll never get all the jibes against Hemir or other young foreign players for that matter, he's only 21 and was a massive challenge coming over to a different country and settling.

This is why I'm no longer desperate for Sunderland to chase 'success' because there won't really be any real consistent success.
Sorry but the best we can hope for is the odd victory at a top four ground, a cup final and a few games in Europe.
I'm more interested in getting down to a scruffy hole, on the south coast, meeting up with the lads and seeing if we can create history by winning the first four games without conceding ...

Being top of the Championship, after putting in the performances we've seen already this season,is not mediocrity marra. I am quite happy to watch us deliver like we have done week in and week out,and just see where it takes us. I just love us playing this exciting football.
