It's INCREDIBLY quiet. And I don't think it's in a 'good' way, i.e. calm before the storm. I suspect our "business" is already concluded save for a few loan deals (which can happen up til mid-Sept anyway, right?).
I would disagree with this tbh .. I don't see the 3 of Joelinton Tonali and Guimereas working overly well or the long term 3. They miss a more mobile player.. Willock is that player but he'd always injured. The back line a midfield are all fairly slow.
Barnes left, new RW in and Gordon in an ACM role to support Isak. Gordon is a good tackler and can dribble and carry the ball well.
Which of Tonali, Bruno or Joelinton is being dropped? Or are we going 3 at the back with no wing backs?
Got excited for a minute - "Barnes left" was one of the best pieces of transfer news I'd heard in a while.
They'll rarely all be available and they'll rotate... I doubt we'll see what we would all suggest as our best 11 of the pitch much at the same time.
It's not looking good at this point. No cb no rw will see the fanbase carrying on like big 6 fans... need to ride this year or two out and be grateful. Trust the process.
