A draw will ensure a really good points return from the first 4 games. I'd be happy with that as it's always difficult playing the promoted sides when they still have the positive feelings from a successful promotion push in the first 5 or 6 games.

Went under the radar that Pompey appointed Jose as well.

    Excellent again RTB !
I cant stand this lot and hope we give them a lesson, I always bang on about the early goal and just think we look so much more composed and relaxed when we get one. If we get an early goal I think it could be 3-1 to the lads. I fancy Roberts to get on the scoresheet as well.

They have done canny for coming up and having a tough start.

They have come unbeaten through 3 games against 3 of best sides in league so credit to them for that.

We are simply better than them. We will be too mobile and too strong without the ball.

Biggest concerns is one of our star boys getting kicked off the park.

2-0 the lads, but a tough game and hard earned.

To be fair Mousinho has them playing decent football - still quite direct but not as aggressive as that Kenny Jackett side.

    RLB Presser starting now:

Nothing finished yet with incomings. Different situations with different players.
    Working on strikers and midfielders
    Working on other positions too

Confirms we are in for Aleksic and Samed

Alese out, more information later but looking like at least 3 to 4 weeks minimum

Edit - from RLB press conference

Alese is a sick note, unfortunately

Good job Ballard is back fit again but it’s far from ideal.

First 20-30 minutes against Burnley is RLB's benchmark and the standard he expects.

    Cracking stuff

Great thread @RTB - thank you.

This will likely be the first game where ****housery is seen in spades from them. Id like to think that 0'9 and Browne help the young'uns out by encouraging us to play football. I'm still going for a 2-0 win with Rigg and Roberts on the scoresheet.

Well up for this one, can't wait, hoping for a 3-0 crushing of them, and to be honest cant see why not, well pleased with the way the new recruitment is going, and I must say it's a long time coming since I've felt this much joy. So win down there and the next home match I expect an attendance of 45,000 Haway the lads

I like his PC's. He comes across as intelligent and competent. Sensibly informative, without any nonsense. Easy to see how the atmosphere last Saturday has impressed itself on him. I'm really warming to him.
