He played like Bruce Joelinton all game..he nearly cost us another goal with a ****e pass on the edge of the box. He was worse than Longstaff and Longstaff was absolutely ****e..needs to sort it out because he is way better than that. Good players should be held to high standards. Longstaff isn't which is why he needs to come out of the team.
There's a certain player that is never even in the game... way off it. Joelinton one motm last week and unfortunately he made a mistake that lead to a goal this week He was trying to get hold of the game rather than taking the easy option and it didn't work this time. The foul on the keeper? Stopped the counter . Well done... Burn did that too...same well done.
There's a problem with big Joe. Not sure what it is, but he's just not looking like a midfield destroyer. He kept his head down against Forest.
He seems to either have a great game or a terrible game. He has given hospital passes on the edge of our own box the last two games, but he was class v Southampton. Hopefully he destroys Spurs and we are laughing again.
He's gone from a consistent midfield enforcer getting 7.5-8.5 per game as a rating to a flip flopping headless chicken. It's like the old Joe (the striker one) has just been dropped into CM. I'd drop him the next game and go Tonali/Longstaff/Bruno in the middle. Longstaff is the foil which gets the best out of Bruno.
I don't think it helps when the two cbs are sitting so deep. Joelinton despite what people are saying is trying to not just punt it or do the easy thing and he gets caught a few times. Once the cbs are improved we'll see the best of all the players in front of them.
