From all the hype and clips surrounding Hughes (also a Wigan supporting mate of mine who thought he was the second coming) I'd like to see him start, get Bedia in and Zambrano, tell Giles to get them crosses in and make it uncomfortable for the white shyte, but above all we have to compete, for every first, second and third ball, get in their faces. I like this, part of me wants to throw Jarvis in instead of Omur. Omur is obviously talented but its hard to see where he fits in Walters system. Unless Zambrano and Puerta become so good he can challenge for that 3rd spot in the middle and push higher up.
For me, I’d rather start Jarvis on the right, Omur in the middle. If it means one of the central midfielders dropping to the bench, so be it. Omur should be one of the first names on the team sheet and you should always play a natural winger if you have one available. I imagine we’ll get an upgrade on the winger situation soon though. But Jarvis has shown promise to fight for a place. I’d have him over Longman.
