He tickles me when he tries to be 'tough'. He's like the wet teacher at school that the kids made their lives a misery, and they could never work out why they got no respect. . He can't grasp that many of those locked up had all ready been through his beloved legal system, and don't give two ****es about going through it again. It just shows how clueless he and those gloating at the sentences are and how his only tool is ineffectual. The longer he ignores the actual issues, the more it's going to cost us all financially. People so thin skinned, shallow and thick should not be in positions of authority.

I see there are fewer than a hundred prison places left in this country. Not a problem. Deport foreign criminals. Hang murderers, rapists and those who abuse animals. And build more prisons. Job done.
