Potentially useful as he can also play left wing back as well as left winger. No idea how good he really is. We were linked years ago. Wonder if this is loan or permanent. The latter doesn’t seem to fit our signing MO
I know almost nothing about Kostic, but am I right to recall that he played LWB against us in the Euros this summer? I've mentioned a couple of times on here since Saturday that if Martin wants to persist with a back three (I hope he doesn't), then we could do with a more natural LWB.
Ah ok that sounds reasonable - he is a right winger from what i thought. Would be happy if he took AA place, hoping it doesn’t push SAA too far down the order either. Think id rather SAA in reserve that AA.
I'd be well up for this. Know nothing about him except for the fact he guided my Yeovil team to back-to-back-to-back promotions from the conference to the championship on football manager. Grew very fond of my little team there.
I don’t want to end my new season of positivity too early, but I have to say.. Our recruitment has been surprisingly ****e so far, even by our incredibly low standards
I actually quite like our recruitment. If you look at each deal individually I think it’s pretty good, only questionable ones for me are Lallana and Wood. There is just far too much to do in one window to make us look a PL side on paper. Hopefully Martins team management ability makes us play better than paper suggests
Considering only BBD has played any significant minutes and he managed a bit of first class **** Housery, which has been the one highlight of our season so far, I would suggest that’s a tad over eager
There was another post earlier saying West Brom would want more. But that contradicts this financial situation post. Just 600k on transfermarkt and for that site to be out by a multiple of more than 15 is unusual even for a young and promising player.
Played well in the away leg in play off against us. Also started season well according to my baggies colleagues and ripped stoke apart on Saturday. Very highly rated at the Albion
