That's capitalism. Trickle down economics is absolute horseshit. Money surges upwards. Whilst it does so, it creates jobs. In any sensible capialist/corporatist economy, taxation and wealth redistribution provides an element of balance and keeps the system operating. It's going to destroy the planet, but we're destined to do that one way or another...
It's not even an opinion, it's just what happens. People at the bottom end of wealth need cash and spend it. Those at the top don't need it and don't spend it. They save it. Trickle down economics doesn't work and they knew it didn't before they rebranded it. It used to be called Horse and Sparrow Theory, as in you feed the horse oats and the sparrows get to peck out something from it's ****. Not the most appealing imagery, is it?
