I am not saying we don’t want Bijlow, but who really thinks we sign him if Arsenal suddenly drop their terms?
Me. I think he's our preferred choice. Bijlow is excellent with the ball at his feet while being a good shot stopper. Ramsdale is not. Only way we don't sign Bijlow is if something come up during the medical.

He may be our preferred choice. Or we may be concerned about his biscuit wrists.

I don't think many goalies break their wrists making shot-stopping saves, I have read it was due to his reckless brave behaviour in diving at people's feet and challenging for balls with his hands where the boots were flying, which makes more sense, and it is believed he changed his style of play due to these contact injuries.

All of my goalkeeping injuries where I broke bones came from collisions with players, and one deliberate over-the-top challenge as I collected the ball which snapped my ulna (he didn't even get a talking to let alone booking).

Hold on? Don’t our medical team get absolutely hammered all the time for not apparently putting a stop to deals like this. But now some people seem annoyed by it? I’m not really sure what people want

The complaints about the Stewart signing have basically been non stop. And would have started a gain should this guy have got injured - even if it was an unrelated injury

I guess the negative reaction is based on some kind of assumption that this means we just won’t sign a goalkeeper. I’d like to think that’s not how this works

I don't think people are annoyed at the medical staff; more annoyed at the situation.

I don't think anyone's annoyed at our medical team stopping the transfer. Just the situation. Bijlow could have been a great fit for us but obviously the risk was too great.
