Aye, every other man in the country will want tickets. Slim chance people will get one. Europe will probably be better, less dickheads

Don't think they will do the rest of Europe! Ireland probably the only EU option.

One of my favourite bands but yeah, they're not exactly the Who live.

Me and my mates used to go to the Wheatsheaf in Stoke on a Thursday to watch the new and upcoming bands they'd have on, usually a couple of quid to get in.
This night we went, and the bouncer said, "good band on tonight, so it's 6 quid entrance".
We said **** that and went to the boozer across the road.
As you've probably already realised, that band was Oasis <wah><doh>

Had a similar experience to this in Sheffield with Arctic Monkeys.

Best pal from schooldays went to Uni there never came back to this day, met a girl now married 4 kids.

‘Get down mate this mint new band around’. They were ****ing brilliant. Was mad Alex Turner nowt like this kind of arrogant ‘I own this fella he is now looked quite nervy and that. Then they started playing.

One of the best gigs. A truly great band.

    Love owt like that.

My local pub was being refurbished in 2003 and upstairs they were part of one of those "up and coming bands" venues.......Us regulars were allowed up there for free while downstairs was closed.....The Killers were second on the bill 6 months before they got in the charts :D Lucky strike there and repeated it the week after (or 2 weeks can't remember) when Electric 6 were on the bill. Both for free :D

The Killers were really good but I was drunk as a skunk by the time they finished and I told Brandon Flowers they were really good but he should ditch that dodgy little keyboard. If only he had taken my advice they might have made it. lolz

How much is the travelodge at Wembley? Trying to avoid rekindling friendships with people in London just for somewhere to sleepover.

    Hahah love it mate.

Seen them in LA was a class show. Clearly several years after you did of course, they had very much made it.

We were there 5 days and seen Killers, Foo Fighters and Carl Cox <laugh>

    Good trip.

No carpets. Floor was a mix of the original "parquet" floor and red/white asbestos tiles :D
