Have to say, when you see them riots etc...i feel ashamed to be English!! When I'm having breakfast at the local bar, during my work break, the news is always on the tv. The other week they was showing the riots and the regulars were asking me what on earth has happened to the UK? I just shrugged my shoulders and said...Boris, Farage and their mates, ever since the lunatics took over the asylum it's got worse and now there is sooooo much division and hatred in the UK. They couldn't believe our once great country was in such a mess and of course they said it's Brexit, I just said it hasn't helped, so much in fighting etc between brexiteers and remainers, the country is so divided. Just look on here, warky refuses to see what is so plain and obvious to everyone else, there is a unwillingness to accept that anyone was wrong or duped!!
Google Spanish Riots and take your pick. My father-in-law lived in Spain for 12 years, same problems the rest of the world has and a LOT more corruption. As for fighting between remainers and Brexiteers, the UK had a vote, it voted to leave. Remainers have never accepted that democratic vote, they’ve blamed everything on Brexit, the remainers want to fight the decision, they want to belittle, call and criticise anyone who voted Brexit. Those who voted Brexit are not fighting anyone, remainers are the ones trying to argue
I am still waiting to see one benefit of Brexit. Total disaster for this once great nation, especially its Young. Most of whom voted to stay in Europe. A majority of Britons (55%) say that, were the EU referendum taking place now, seven years after the original date, they would vote to Remain. Who was it who took us into Europe? Sir Edward Heath, Tory PM!
Oh dear, the Ijyat is back, his village is missing him!! The Catalan riots had feck all to do with immigrants, it was because they wanted independence. They did not randomly pick on people of colour. Don't need to Google it you twot, I fecking live here. I don't care how long your father in law ( can't believe you're married, poor guy) lived here, totally different circumstances. Problem with brexiteers is, you know you fecked up, just can't admit it, I mean come on....who in their right minds would listen to Farage and Johnsoni guess the rest of the lunatics in the asylum!! People of colour can walk along the streets here without living in fear, unless your name is Vini jnr!! Dont tell me Spain is worse, I've never even seen an argument in a bar, let alone a fight, you can walk thru parks at 2am and there is no trouble, families out eating ice cream and sitting chatting. Everyone I know in UK wouldn't go near a park at night. UK is not a safe place to live these days and don't even get me started on the state of the towns, **** holes mate, coffee shops, bookies and charity shops, the rest is boarded up. Still, you and your EDL mates can dream up whatever you want, if you think Brexit has made you better off, then I'm pleased for you. If you think that you don't need any foreigners in the UK, then you carry on and see who does all the necessary mundane jobs, I tell you what, the UK is nowhere near the powerhouse it used to be and it's sad to see!!
I think Ristac is in love with me, he is obsessed and keeps replying to my posts on here.....sorry darling, not interested!!
What I will say is, Spain does have it's problems, of course it does, most countries do and there is racism, without a doubt. There is even problems with immigrants in the Canary islands but on a much larger scale than the UK. It's just being dealt with differently, people are trying to burn down places with immigrants inside etc. I just don't see how anyone can say the UK is better off after Brexit or is it the wrong kind of Brexit
And I cant wait to travel to France today, always a great welcome, smiling, cheerful, no potholes, wonderful food, no long waits for hospital treatment, even the Gendarmerie think we were mad to leave. We were stopped to check our papers last summer and ended up having a 10 min chat with 2 of them. "Boris, what a crazy man!"
You ain't wrong gaffer, the thing is, I love my country of birth, always will do and I think it's a beautiful country, some stunning countryside....I just don't like what it has become!!
You believe Brexit was a mistake, others will think not. I’m not arguing if it was right or wrong, it happened, it’s part of our history, we can’t go back in time and change it. My point was there is no fighting from Brexiteers, they got what they voted for, they are constantly hounded and name called by remainers, it’s not fighting. Brexit was won because no government listened to the concerns of the public. Housing, health, benefit system, illegal immigration. Still we have immigrants crossing safe countries to get in an unsafe boat to come here and get money and housing. If any government had cured that issue, Brexit would not have happened. Our gutter press are the ones responsible for most of our decisions, they blind a small percentage of people to believe their agenda, which is sell papers, earn clicks. Sadly that small percentage is enough to tip a close balance
Nope, only when you have a **** result, I don't go on any of your political threads etc, where as you on the other hand ......
Anyway, how about this ....i will stay off your site and you **** off from ours and we leave each other in peace, if johnnywarkstache want a bit of man love with you, he can go on Leeds site
For Britain, the key issues people have include a lack of affordable housing, declining standards in healthcare and education, ever-widening divides between the 'haves' and 'have-nots', illegal immigration, tax and benefit fraud, and unstable job markets with poor working conditions and rights. People - everyone but the most tribal of Brexit voters - know and understand that Brexit hasn't fixed any of those issues. In most cases, the consequences of Brexit has made those issues worse today. Those who sold Brexit as the cure for these issues were liars. And they knew it. Convenient that many of them have become even richer off Brexit. Most notably the millionaires who managed to avoid a planned high wealth tax from the EU just before Brexit was finalised. That tax money could have been invested in on our healthcare, education, armed forces, police, communities etc. but instead, it's sitting in an off-shore bank account making massive interest for someone and their family. Red-faced 'patriots' will scream 'socialist' at that, but even a sensible capitalist recognises that in times of peril and hardship, a small dose of socialism is needed to avoid something worse - for example, the 1945 UK General Election. A sensible capitalist recognises that a fair tax system is crucial to building a sustainable economy. Brexit wasn't a victory for the working class. It wasn't a victory for the middle class. It wasn't a victory for law and order Tories. It wasn't a victory for the hard left socialists who wanted rid of a capitalist mega-conglomerate. It wasn't a victory for those who wanted to end immigration. The idea that we 'can't go back and change it' is technically incorrect. We've overruled legislation and changed laws throughout history in this country. I would not be surprised at all if there is some movement on becoming closer to our European partners in the not-so-distant future.
There is already some movement with the Youth cultural exchanges, if no movement at Dover border crossings!
You don’t have the arbitrary right to decide who can post on our board or any other for that matter. The whole point of this platform is free speech. I know that for you Marxists free speech isn’t allowed unlss it agrees with your rather warped views
If we wanted you off our forum we’d just ban you from it. The question was posed last week, we said no, allow you to come and go freely. Congratulations too on being put in charge of the Ipswich forum, I missed that announcement
If you want unchecked free speech, go to X where you can also buy guns, spout racist nonsense and conspiracy theories and cater to your other vices. The point of this forum is to 1. Discuss all things Ipswich Town. 2. Wind up Norwich and Leeds fans.
