30m reportedly! but lets be serious. Even after that he has enough money to never need to reform. They are obvs going for the "iconic moment" more than topping up the funds.
I agree tbh, however if he was still married this wouldn't be happening. Seems like he was under the thumb
Starting to come back to life now mate. He has just sat down for a cuppa. Said Prodigy were brilliant. Fontaines also blew it all away. I have wanted him to see Prodigy for a while, proper cross over band. Shame he never saw Flint, what a bloody front man he was. Brilliant bonding a bit with my lad on music. He draws the line though on my real love of German electronica from the 70s
Been seeing clips of the Prodigy and the whole show looks immense. I love that they still start with the silhouette of Flint. Must have seen them 15 times or more over the years and blew my mind every time. Mad thing, best one was the ‘Always outnumbered, never outgunned’ tour. Seen as far from their best work, the earlier stuff started off more raw, then more intricate and varied, but it was when folk were really starting to do crazy things with the visuals and I was just living my best life that night, phenomenal. The ultimate crossover group in many ways. Started as a rave group, did techno. Techno fused with rock. Leaned towards rock… It’s true what you say a real showman as a front man, but the talent and the vision from Liam Howlett, for all the albums, incredible. Love when the generations that follow feel the love. Probs not dissimilar to my love of 80’s music collected from my parents.
I find it hilarious that the usual music snobs are saying "it will just be a field full of 50 year old bucket hat chavs." Are these people childless? because as a dad of 2 late teens boys, I think the 50 year olds are gonna have a fight on their hands to beat the yoof with their apple pay accounts. lolz.
Nothing much like it mate. It’s the lighting and the whole experience it’s incredible. Mind, best I’ve ever seen for all of that was Massive Attack, absolutely mesmerising that was.
T In the park 2002 - managed to catch Oasis AND chemical brothers in one weekend great lineup that year
Big old bag of silver for the Gallaghers and a bit of nostalgia for fans, nowt wrong with that. Can't say I'd go see them nowadays mind, saw them twice as a lad and just did not enjoy them as a live act though I loved the first two or three albums.

Really enjoyed them at the arena, weirdly as it's normally a dreadful venue and didn't think they were that good at the SoL
