Two other teams that I follow closely have got off to storming starts this season. SKD's Eastleigh have a 100% record, could he be the man that finally brings league football to the Spitfires? Paul Wotton's (remember him?) Torquay sit in the top 3 after 3 wins from 4 games in the NLS.
R.I.P. Sven Sven-Goran Eriksson shared a poignant message at the end of his new documentary film 'Sven'. He said: "I hope you will remember me as a positive guy trying to do everything he could do. "Don’t be sorry, smile. Thank you for everything, coaches, players, the crowds, it’s been fantastic. Take care of yourself and take care of your life. And live it.”
Finally got round to starting this last week. Not finished it yet but enjoying it immensely, incredibly good. A must read for any football fan who likes reading. Don't be put off by the inevitable American-isms (as I think I subconsciously was) as I'm now kicking myself for buying it years ago and not cracking on with it straight away.

Andros Townsend is in football limbo after siging for Antalyaspor only to find they are banned from signing new players. This part of his story is funny though: "There were so many red flags, you wouldn't believe it. But something was telling me this is the right move for me, to go and experience something new in Antalya which is a beautiful city right near the beach. Something was telling me to make it happen." Andros wants a holiday!
I'm impressed by how strong Palace have gone tonight. Not often you see that from a PL team in round two.
