I would be gutted if he left, I don’t think he does though.
What I would say though is if he goes and we bring a Bensen in to go alongside Poveda for competition then it’s hard to argue against that still being very strong.

I think it is. They’ve had a year in the Prem fair but it’s a small club, in a small town, with a pit of a stadium.
They aren’t even one of the bigger teams in the Championship.
Benson is a very good player, if we were to lose Roberts and bring him in I wouldn’t be arsed at all as good as his last performance was. However he loves it here and his brother (agent) always reinforces that on social media, most recently highlighting his 100th appearance and feeling like he’s home here.
My exact opinion on it too, which Is why I suspect it doesn’t happen.
Would be suprised if any of the current first 11 would move anywhere else in the championship given our start.
