    Crystal Palace draw Cardiff in the semis, meaning we will have to finish in the top 6 to qualify for Europe as the final cant be two potential top 5 sides.

    The only problem with 4th is that we would need to qualify for the Champions League, we need to get 3rd at least!

    Good news you are wrong, only team in the League Cup that can qualify for the Europa Cup is team that wins it.

    The losing finalist of the league cup cant get into europe. You can only get into europe via the league cup by winning it. if man city win it, then it will go to 6th place as long as they get into the champions league

    That's the FA cup, not the Carling Cup.

    The winner of the Carling Cup gets European spot, the runner up of the FA cup gets another European spot, unless they're already in Europe.

    Think this could be a blessing in disguise, think the highest we'll finish is 7th and can't really see MA investing in the squad enough to handle the hectic Europa schedule

    Yes Wigan lost to Man Utd in the 2006 final and didn't get into Europe, despite the fact Man Utd were in the Champions League.
