I at least understand why we can't sell. Too many average players on high wages. Plus point is give it a season and a lot will be off the books as end of contract
I'm 100% certain the manager believes only a small pool of players that exist in the world could improve his side. Just let that sink in.
Like I said, it's all banking on us negotiating peace within the Middle East first. Thankfully that takes about the same amount of time it's taken us to pay for Guehi.
Looks like we’re in for Trafford again!! We don’t have money for a CB and a RW but we do have money for a 6th keeper!
Nah, I think Howe would have been looking way more chipper in recent interviews if he had the level of control he'd like to have.
Howe would play the dross anyway ... to be fair the fans have been peddling the notion the dross are unsung heroes and essential to the side. The fans litterally take whatever howe does as gospel. Some of us have known some of these lads are bot good wnough for years. We haven't required one training session.....it's worrying imo.
Since Mitchell arrived? There's only been one, hasn't there? A cheap addition for the future as much as the present, which isn't indicative of much. The lack of any significant signings might indicate a bit of a silent power struggle going on behind the scenes though. Or a decision from higher up to keep the powder dry, ready for the arrival of a new manager in the next 12 months... Or it may be that they really are only targetting one player who will cost twice his actual value to sign, which would be madness.
