Also think it helps early season when the pitches are still in a better condition as like you say were more than capable of out playing them, same intensity, same pressing, manage that for first 20 without them having any real chances & they hopefully will be at a loss....we have just done it to a kuch better side in Burnley, players will be buzzing & hopefully a few additions by end of week
If it makes you feel any better I’ve been informed that’s were we’re going Friday, ****ing deadline day wandering about that hell hole, nailed on we’ll make about 5 signings now though
Just don’t kick off when you see all the mag shirts. Do like I do and imagine that all those who aren’t wearing NUFC tops are Sunderland fans who have other clothes to wear. The scruffy ****n bellends
I ripped my trainers the other day on the way to an event I was organising in Peterlee. Went to Dalton Park on my own, trainers tried on, bought, back in the car in 6 minutes. New Balance for anyone interested. Wish Speakman shopped so efficiently.
It's OK if we are keeping a tight unit, but there will be times when we're chasing games and need different options. It's all going nicely atm but The Championship is relentless, and it'll be tough and rough at times.
That’s why I would offload Rusyn Aouchiche and Ekwah. You need people strong, quick, resilient, consistent.
I thought exactly the same hence I was wincing every time he went into a tackle. Turns out I should have been wincing when Neil wiped out there winger right in front of me
You see I’d keep AA for that very reason. I love a ‘Maverick type’ maybe it’s not his time just yet but in a couple of seasons he could be exactly what we need. Think Stan Bowles, Rodney Marsh
Sounds like my kind of shopping. Went to the metro centre the other day was back in the car in 8 mins I thought was good going but seems I must try harder. I went to 2 shops though.
