I'd probably get RM to skip match review this week and just watch the Brighton game. The concept of mobile players who can turn and drive with the ball or even swing across the field with it to pull opposition players out of shape. Thats when we should be looking to pass the ball. In the first half we were statue pinball with balls bouncing off in the direction they just came from and the Forest team could just push up in shape and shut us down.

SR got us relegated. Gao was ****e and didn't spend a penny but we were relegated because of SRs really really consistently poor decision making.
Nah, I think we went down because serial underinvestment by Gao left SR urgently needing to gamble to fix us. We were a sinking ship.
There's a clear distinction between the two imo, intention. Gao clearly wasn't interested in moving the club forward and the investment into the club was limited. SR for all their faults (they have made mistakes) have invested good money throughout the club and I believe that the ceiling for success for the club is much higher now but we may have to wait and staying up this season is crucial to future growth and it probably will become easier in time.
Not sure how you can say Gao wasn't interested in investing or moving the club forward. He physically couldn't because the Chinese government pulled the rug out from under his feet.
Who too? The first buyer who only wanted to asset strip? Gao gave us time to find the right buyer whether that is SR who knows but believe me it could've been much much worse.
