The good news is that the madness is over. The opinions expressed about it here on this forum turned our 'news' thread toxic, resulting in that thread being deleted. We have agreed that going forward, Not606 Charlton is for discussion of CAFC, football, other sport & perhaps the odd bit of trivia - in that order. No more politics.
A price worth paying for the good of this community, I think we all agree. There are many other platforms for the kind of stuff that almost brought this unique place down. We learned a lesson about freedom of speech - and freedom to choose not to speak.
Some good news for me! Having been locked out of my account here for a couple of months with the help of @ElfsborgAddick I can now log back in. Also grateful thanks to @lardiman or @DickPlumb1 for sorting it out for me. Gentleman one and all.
I wasn’t sure who Elfsborg messaged but as you are a mod along with lardiman I wasn’t sure which of you had sorted it for me so included you both.
