Yeah, lower. Had to Google it, not been there since the odd junior football festival years back. There was a good Sunday lunch place in upper called The George, right?
While that's true what you say, in my case it;s the patient lol...i forget what they call my veins, there's medical term for it that I can't remember. I do warn them everytime and then it's like shhite we got a problem, well I did tell you. They literally have to be brutal with my arm to get it in, they are scared of hurting me but I'm use to it and just think get on with it ffs. But yeah the after effects look worse than they are, but can take weeks to clear properly. It don't help because before surgery it's nil by mouth...and there the problem begins. One time they couldn't get the drug to knock me out, so we were having a funny to do, with me saying I'm still here lol...then suddenly the pain in my left arm was disappearing with the battering it had taken, could feel the drug working and the nerves tingling through my arm, to which I said, I'm going to sleep now.
Indeed - friend of the family (guy who was at school with my brother-in-law and now a retired teacher) ate there last night - and popped in this afternoon- bizarre coincidence was that the meal last night was his wife's retirement and she was a Ward sister at Morriston (she called her colleagues yesterday to say the mum-in-law was a 'family friend') - and my missus has just informed me that her dad (who I never met) did a lot of the building work in The George - the stone fireplaces etc... small world ...
Morriston Hospital is a grim place, eh? I feel for you. Not sure if you know about Singleton, just down the road from here and shares campus with Swansea University? Wonderful place (as Hospitals go!) No actual A&E anynore though, so no queuing ambulances etc.
A&E last night certainly was - packed and, by the time we left, a number of pissheads / stoners laid out across the seats in the reception area ...
Judging by the home crowd at the SW derby today, I'd say there will be a few undeserving casualties in there tonight! It genuinely brings the morons out of the Swansea populous. Full house, packed. Shame they can't be arsed to get out of the house and proper pissed for the rest of the season.
Didn't finish last by any means but, **** me, wasn't expecting 50mph wind and hail before I staggered off half way through rnd 2 to make sure I was dry and well enough for the South Wales derby this afternoon . Was never going to win anyway! It's the juniors day tomorrow for 36 holes, and the weather looks good.
Every other car on the whole ****ing road is a pensioner driving a campervan. You can go whenever you want. **** off on Bank Holiday weekend.
Take their winter fuel allowance away from them. Can't be needed that if you can afford an £80k motorhome Actually make them live in it all winter as punishment for blocking up the roads in the summer.
Decided to stay another day as the Old girl is still a bit groggy - had already taken the day off tomorrow as holiday ... hey ho
They’re all millionaires. Go on a cruise and spend the kids’ inheritance rather than poncing around Dorset.
At least you're not round here, where these people drive at 15mph on every road 'just incase', because they think there is a blanket 20mph speed limit. ****ing tourists.
Anyone going to try for Oasis tickets? Would be nice to be there but I don’t care enough to drop three figures to be 50 yards away next to Barry, 52, who has never given up his Gallagher haircut.
