Well I only saw the last 30 minutes so I don't know how we played before that but Cardiff certainly finished the stronger. I thought we looked tentative and unconvincing. I don't understand why we can't take the same care and effort to pass the ball forward as we do going back to goal.

An oscar please for the Cardiff diving/head holding, pathetic. Ramsey leapt to his feet after the red card <laugh>

No double at least, we are still the record holders <cheers>

Draw fair result. Cardiff vastly improved second half and to me were the better side.

Evening all.... Now the dust has settled slightly hopefully it's ok to pop my head around the door??

Thought the draw was a fair result in the end.

First half, apart from the first 5 minutes and last 5 minutes you guys were much the better side, though I shall reserve my comments on the leniency of the refereeing in your favour and Harry Darlings diving antics throughout (the fact that even the commentary team at one point made a sarcastic comment about him not getting the "flop" quite right sums it up).

Second half much tighter and I thought (perhaps through blue tinted specs) we just about shaded it.
Very well worked goal by us, though from a defensive point of view, not picking up Robbo's drop off would I imagine be disappointing.

The handbags towards the end was a bit daft, though I was incensed myself, not because of Rambo's head injury but because the throw should have gone our way....

Anyhow, no double for either side again this year, normal derby day service resumed thankfully.

    Just got back in.

    As I predicted, a 1-1 draw.

We had our chances, both in the first and second half - before they equalised - but if you don’t take them …..

For me the substitutions were the key - Abdulai and Fulton were downright terrible today.

Overall, our changes disrupted us but Cardiff’s invigorated them and once they’d equalised, I’d have happily taken the point.

Whilst I can understand Brizzle’s comment re Darling’s tendency to flop, the worst ****housery came when the Cardiff player pretended that Darling had head-butted him.

As for the red card, Bulut and his guys were ‘at’ Keith Stroud all afternoon, so hardly surprising that he couldn’t wait to tell the ref what had transpired.

Overall, I thought that the ref had a decent game, kept his cards in his pocket early on and let the game flow.

Additionally, now that the dust has settled, I think that the draw was a fair result.

Hey Taff, think we're seeing things the same in general.

The handbags from our bench was a bit comedic for sure.

Agree too that Ng went down looking to get Darling punished at the end there, but, rightly or wrongly I reckon that was an attempt at payback, not just for Darlings diving and little kick on our keepers head today (unnecessarily so too in my opinion, he didn't need to make any contact), but also last season when he was throwing himself to the ground at every opportunity after getting Meite booked...
Sorry to say but the guy is just a big a ****e house as McBurnie used to be... More so in some ways.

As you can tell, I'm not overly bothered by him though <laugh>

Have a good evening folks, will leave you in peace now and go fraternise with our motley crew. <cheers>

    Hi Brizzle,

I think we are seeing things pretty much the same - players on both sides fall too easily and I was pleased that Langford started to see it (from both sides) as the game progressed - bloody hell, when I played Welsh League and later on Neath League, you wouldn’t go down as easily as today’s pros lest you’d be seen as a - let’s call it  - ‘soft touch’. What’s more, you’d get as much stick - if not more - from your own teammates <ok>

Anyway, until the return match when both teams / squads will have settled in <cheers>
