I seen that. It wasn’t a goal celebration of sheer happiness. There is definitely something wrong at the club. The whole feeling right now feels off. We have 4 points which is probably more than we should to be honest.
Simple question. Who would you have played instead of 1. Murphy. 2. Longstaff 3. Krafth And only getting 4 points out of 6 in the first two games of the season proves nothing, either way.
The 4 points is quite lucky and I think we should be happy. The club needed to bring in better players. That’s the point. But to be objective. Murphy was probably the right choice but he played terrible. Should have been replaced by Miggy (albeit he’s crap). Longstaff is a plodder but was the biggest problem today. Joelinton was poor. Willock is a better player so maybe should have been on earlier. Krafth didn’t do an awful lot wrong but he’s a right back. We had Trippier on the bench. We should have started with Hall Burn Kelly and Trippier.
They haven't identified one single undiscovered talent and half the time there's over 100 million benched and half the side hess fielding are pretty much worthless in comparison. I'd like to see this manager and the scouts actaulky do something impressive... I'm.nkt seeing any evidence if that.. it's a few hog money signings which quite frankly Sany manager can do if they have that kind of money. Where are they finds.? The answer is quite simply that there's hasn't been any and imo that's got to change.
Howe is going to be under super pressure this next 3 months and he probably will use the excuse that we have not bought the right players. And no players at all. We needed a goal when we went 1-1 and we didn’t bring on the Sheff Utd kid. Who can’t score a goal for toffee. That’s a statement in itself.
His subs were probably right. But to be honest some of them maybe should have started. Howe is on a tightrope.
Howe's future at the club will be decided this seaso I personally think the club need an elite manager that's operated at a higher level than Bournemouth. If he lands 7th that's a good season and he deserves to continue until the club is ready to push on. Outside 7th ? He's gone I think
This season we need to push on. I like Howe as a person. But he isn’t elite. We need that. With the money we have spent we should be doing better. Hes a dead man walking. I’m sorry for all this Howe lovers but he has to go. Soon. So we can move on up.
Tbh I never heard of Isak and Guimaraes before we signed them and was sceptical of Gordon now they're all worth £100m+,so that's 3 finds, Trippier, Pope, Burn and Targett all cheap buys and all doing /did a wonderful job, the 4 of them cost nearly half a Guehi BTW forgot Botman
Maybe so, maybe no, but that's neither here nor there. He made us a fat profit, so he was undeniably a clever signing.
