So why didn’t you just show that then instead of trying to look clever? I even asked you if he held dual citizenship.

I searched that out 1 minute before I posted it.

Again, amazed that this is controversial at all.

edit:: you don't need to hold citizenship to be of a particular nation, does that need explaining?

Not particularly. Anyway as you say this should be about the players we have recruited from French teams not a discussion on citizenship of said players.

'French Contingent', anything else was inferred. Citizenship or otherwise.

Looking for takes on why they aren't thriving, despite having a French manager, where you'd be forgiven for thinking that would help their integration/minutes etc

It's a very interesting point and it would take someone with a far clearer picture of the dynamics of the team, and the individuals involved, than I to even try to answer. Have you got any kind of hunch you're flirting with?

No, it's a complete mystery and counterintuitive to what I expected, I suppose the counter argument is that it doesn't matter if they're French, what matters is their effort and attitude in training, something like that. Humans are messy though, we're not automatons, you'd think it would be easier for RLB, who does speak good English, to relay instructions more fluently in his native tongue, giving the French Contingent an advantage.

I dont necessarily think it is counter intuitive. Coaches do not look at Nationality, they look at player ability to fit into their style of play. A lot gets made about coaches being unable to get the best out of players from different nationalities, or preferring others, I just dont believe that is accurate. If a player fits the style and are best in their position they play.

Adil sadly isnt good enough in my opinion. I have never felt he was tbh. His decision making is quite poor and he lacks a calmness to play in an attacking space. Players like Rigg and Jobe have developed at such a pace and he hasnt, sadly. Probably doesnt even make our bench now.

Ekwah I believe doesnt put the graft in consistently well enough. Talent aplenty, but aptitude maybe not as good as others. With Browne joining he looks backup now.

Pembele still showing signs of returning from a long lay off. Like others I wouldnt write him off yet, but not ready for our matchday squad either. Loan a goof option to hopefully rebuild comfidence.

Ba, another who really isnt good enough. He hasnt developed as we would have expected. I honestly dont see how he gets any game time for us. Roberts so far has been back to his best, and his best is way ahead of Ba.

We took a punt on young lads and for me they havent grasped the opportunity fully yet. I would let Ba and Adil go as I dont think they are good enough. They need to find their level and play and learn, we cant give them that opportunity. The other 2 I can give more time too yet. But if Ekwah is subject of a good bid I would do business personally. £6 or £7m and I would wager we could pick up a more suitable fit for us with the money.

This is all RLBs fault, if he wasn’t French we wouldn’t be having this conversation

I think its pretty obvious that Reggie hates our French players because he's a Breton and the players are either Norman or Parisian. I'm not sure which département of France Zaragoza is in but its definitely not Brittany.

Mayenda is from Spain, he's Spanish.
He holds duel citizenship, which means he has the right to reside in both countries,
Dual Nationality in Spain allows individuals to enjoy the benefits of being Spanish citizens and citizens of another country. It facilitates travel within the EU, access to social services, and cultural connections while requiring compliance with residency, language proficiency, and documentation requirements.

Your confusing nationality with citizenship, where you were born, where you can legally live.
