I see so you think the police shouldn’t target the particular demographic that tend to carry knives but instead search all males so as not to be seen to be racist. It’s that type of thinking that has led to the massive rise in knife crime.
Most males don’t carry knives, certain demographics are more likely to. Target those demographics, make it too big a risk to carry a knife. It’s the only sensible approach.

I'd agree with this. What's the problem if the cops want to stop me to check if I'm carrying a blade, I'm all for it, let's do it if it helps in anyway to save a life. I'd be happier in the knowledge that the people passing me in the street are less likely to be carrying a knife.
We must tackle the epidemic of knife crime in the UK, not just the deaths but also the culture of carrying weapons with little fear of any repercussions. Stop and Search based on demographics is the only sensible approach.
